Be carrier-unlocked
Support eSIM in the country or region where the device was sold
Have software that supports eSIM installation

Device model names alone are not always enough to determine eSIM compatibility. Manufacturers may sell different hardware or SIM configurations under the same model name in different countries.

How to Check eSIM Compatibility

The easiest and most reliable way to determine whether your device supports eSIM is to check the SIM settings directly on your device.

Depending on your iOS version and region, look for one of the following options:
