Do I need to provide any documents when buying an eSIM Teloka?
No. You can easily purchase an eSIM directly on the Teloka website. Just choose the eSIM data plan and place your order, you will receive a QR code via email immediately.
How long does it take to receive my Teloka eSIM?
Once you pay, the eSIM QR code will be sent to the email you entered during the purchase process within 5-10 minutes. If you can't find the email in your inbox, kindly take a look in your spam folder. If you have not received your eSIM after more than 10 minutes, contact us via our online chat or email, and we will sort it out for you.
Can I make or receive calls with Teloka eSIM?
Depending on the country, network operator, and package, the eSIM will come with a phone number. For example, we currently include calls in destinations such as Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Europe, etc. eSIMs that lack a phone number can still be used with WhatsApp or similar applications to make calls, as they use data.
Can I keep my WhatsApp number?

When does my Teloka eSIM data plan start?
Many eSIMs will activate only when you reach your destination and connect to a compatible network. On the other hand, some eSIMs will activate immediately when installed, regardless of the location. Please check the product page info or contact us to clarify.
When should I set up my eSIM?
You must be aware of the activation policy to know when you can install your eSIM. You need WiFi to set up your eSIM, so we recommend installing and activating it just before your departure. You can also wait until you arrive at your destination airport to activate it, but remember that you need a prior WiFi connection for the set-up process.

Why am I receiving text messages on my Teloka eSIM?
When using a travel eSIM, you may receive text messages in foreign languages from unfamiliar numbers. This is normal and often related to the network provider's automatic notifications. These messages can be welcomed, not spam. If you have questions, contact our customer support via online chat or email for further information.
How can I configure APNs for my eSIM?
After scanning the QR code and enabling roaming, if you still don’t get Internet access with your eSIM, you must configure APNs (Access Point Name) to fix the issue. Your APN allows you to connect to the network. It changes by country. Normally, an APN is set up automatically when you change eSIMs, but this may go wrong occasionally. You will need to handle this manually. You need to find out which APN to use, which is provided in the My eSIM page.
Can I use two eSIMs at the same time?
Many eSIM-supported phones allow you to add multiple eSIMs to one device, but note that only one eSIM can be activated at a time.
Do I have to activate data roaming on my phone?
Yes. To ensure your Teloka eSIM gets the best coverage, you must turn on data roaming in your cell phone settings. As long as you have set up the Teloka eSIM, this will not incur additional charges.
My device is network-locked. What should I do?
If your device is locked to a specific network, you won't be able to use it while traveling overseas. An eSIM can only be used on a mobile device that is eSIM-compatible and network-unlocked. You should contact your network carrier to get it unlocked.
